After learning about artist Jen Stark in depth, students will now create an artwork inspired by her. Featuring Stark's popular drip patterns, students will create their own personalized drip art design. After choosing a subject they like, students will create a mirrored composition of their silhouetted subject. The design will demonstrate asymmetrical balance. This is done by drawing a drip background on the left side of the page (leaving the subject blank), while on the right side of the page flipping this concept (the background is left blank while the subject is filled with drip patterns)!
